Emma Shultz didn’t fit in the modern world. Raised a conservative Mennonite and dressing the part, she always stood out in mainstream America. But that all changed the day she moved to a farmhouse in rural Ohio. There she meets the local Amish and soon has plenty of friends and social engagements to attend. For the first time ever, she feels she belongs.
Then Emma falls in love with Amish man, Jakob Fisher. Such a union is forbidden, as they are from different religions, and she is forced to watch from afar as he courts another girl. Emma is left heartbroken and even begins to question her faith. Things go from bad to worse, until the day God steps in to play holy matchmaker.
